They have recently been on tour across their native Australia.

Speaking about the show, promoters The Pad Presents said: “DMA’s first caught our attention supporting The Maccabees at The Great Escape last year.

“A string of UK dates followed, all building to the release of their debut UK single Delete which was A Listed on BBC Radio 1 for several weeks, quite a feat for a modern day guitar band.”

DMA’s comprise of singer Tommy O’Dell and guitarists Johnny Took and Matt Mason.

Having met while playing in other bands, DMA’s are three writers, three mates, three frontmen – all with a common sense of purpose and musicality.

They came together making nostalgic garage pop in a bedroom in Newtown.

After signing with tastemaker label I Oh You, DMA’s released their debut single Delete to rave reviews.

NME featured them as one of the publication’s buzz bands to watch with Blur’s Dave Rowntree picking Delete as his record of the week on Radio X.

Hills End draws influences from the likes of The Beatles, The Stone Roses and The La’s.

This summer, the band will be playing festivals including T In The Park, Splendour, BBK in Bilbao, Spain and Fuji Rock in Japan.

DMA’s play the Roadmender on Wednesday June 29. Support is by Neon Waltz.

Tickets cost £9 in advance before fees. They then return to the region to headline Esquires on July 3.
