Live music, street food and good beer!

The largest beer festival in Northamptonshire is back where you can expect to see all of the county's independent brewers in one place to celebrate all that is good about locally produced alcoholic beverages!

This event has now been running for over 43 years and dates have been announced for Thursday June 3 through to Saturday June 5 later on this year. Each day, the event will run from 11am to 11pm with last entry at 9.30pm.

The festival will take place at Becket's Park where there will be live music performances and DJ on a stage, street food and - not to mention - all of Northamptonshire's independent beer, cider and spirit producers.

The event organisers announced on the festival's Facebook page that they will be raising money for NHS workers. The post said: "Down the years, the Northampton Beer Festival has always donated to local or national charities.

"This year we have decided that we will be raising money for our wonderful local NHS workers, the people who put their lives on the line to see us through the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to this, any NHS worker attending the event with ID will get a drink on us in recognition of their efforts over the past year."

There will be limited capacity this year in order to meet Covid guidelines and enable social distancing. Only plastic cups will be given out at the event due to the coronavirus pandemic but souvenir glasses will be available to purchase.

A full refund will be issued to customers if the festival is cancelled or postponed.
