Alan Carr's two-night Northampton gigs, Not Again, Alan!, have been postponed until 2021.

Alan Carr - known for his hugely successful Chatty Man show on Channel 4 - is the son of former Northampton Town boss Graham Carr and, of course, grew up in Northampton and still visits his family in Overstone.

The one-man-show will be his first stand-up performance in five years and his fourth solo UK tour, following the Tooth Fairy, Yap Yap Yap, and Spexy Beast.

Following the coronavirus pandemic, the promoters of the tour have pushed the would-be November dates back to March next year.

If audience members are able to attend on the rescheduled date, their tickets will be moved to the same seat as their previous booking and if they can't make the new date, there is an option to choose to receive e-vouchers in credit which can be spent on any event within 18 months.

The description of the tour says: 'It's been four years since Alan last went on tour, and in that time he's managed to find himself in all sorts of dramas. Between his star-studded wedding day and becoming an accidental anarchist, from fearing for his life at border control to becoming a reluctant farmer, three words spring to mind... Not again, Alan!'

This year, 57 tour dates were announced for the tour, which was to start in Dunfermline on September 5 and finish at the Barbican in York on December 19.
