Action-packed circus returns to Northampton tonight ahead of nine shows in five days

From ice skating to acrobats, the show is full on thrill-seeking entertainment

An action-packed touring circus is back in Northampton tonight for the opening show of nine.

Circus Zyair has pitched its tent at Sixfields and is ready to entertain the town over the next five days.

The first show at 7.30pm tonight (March 11) has already sold out, but the circus will then be in town until Sunday (March 15) with plenty more chances to catch the performance.

From flying acrobats, to ice dancers, to gymnasts and magicians the show has something for everyone.

A spokesman for the circus said: “Circus Zyair is proud to present a colourful and action-packed hour and a half show with high energy acts from all over the world.

“The 2020 tour is a dazzling combination of circus, music and laughter.

“With a heated big top, comfy seating and an electric atmosphere from start to finish Circus Zyair promises to be a truly magical experience for the whole family.”

The tent opens around 40 minutes before the show starts and seats are not allocated so are taken on a first come first served basis.

A circus cafe selling hot and cold drinks, hot dogs, burgers, chips, candy floss and popcorn is open throughout the performance.

Show times

Tonight (Wednesday March 11) at 7.30pm, (sold out online).

Tomorrow (Thursday March 12) at 7.30pm.

Friday March 13 at 5pm and 7.30pm.

Saturday March 14 at 11am, 3pm (sold out online) and 6pm.

Sunday 15 March at 11am and 3pm.

Tickets for all of the shows are £8.99 and children under two go free as long as they don not occupy a seat.

They can be bought online.Alternatively a limited number of tickets are available at the on-site box office on the day of the performance if it is not already sold out.
