Saints face a Madejski Stadium showdown if they slay Saracens

Saints will face a Madejski Stadium date if they can beat Saracens and progress to the semi-finals of this season's Champions Cup.

With the winners of the Sarries-Saints clash at Allianz Park on April 9 meeting the victors from the Wasps-Exeter encounter, the final-four clash needs to be played at a neutral venue in England.

And the Madejski Stadium, home of Reading FC and London Irish, will be that venue as two teams battle for a place in the showpiece.

The all Aviva Premiership semi-final will take place on Saturday, April 23, with the other final-four match taking place a day later.

There are three potential venues for the other tie, with the City Ground in Nottingham to host if Leicester Tigers can beat Stade Francais and Racing 92 beat Toulon.

If Stade Francais and Racing 92 make up the semi-final pairing, the game will be played at the MMArena in Le Mans.

But if Toulon beat Racing 92 they will meet either Leicester Tigers or Stade Francais at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

Home country advantage in the last four was determined by the new Champions Cup semi-final format which recognises performances by clubs during the pool stage as well as the achievement of winning a quarter-final away from home.

The 2016 Champions Cup final will be played on Saturday, May 14 at Grand Stade de Lyon.
