While the red carpet would usually be rolled out for the entire squad and almost 1,000 guests for a glittering black-tie ceremony on the hallowed Franklin's Gardens turf, this year social-distancing guidelines will see the awards winners announced in a unique way.

A pop-up restaurant will open this Saturday for the final round of the 2020 Six Nations.

The ‘Super Saturday’ lunch will be combined with the 2019-20 end-of-season awards, and act as a fundraiser for Tom Wood’s testimonial year.

Inside ‘Woody’s Restaurant’ in the stadium’s Rodber Suite, the legendary Saints flanker and England International will act as host for the afternoon’s festivities, which include a five-course meal, screenings of the Italy vs England and France vs Ireland matches, special guest appearances, and the exclusive revealing of Saints’ awards winners between the games.

A series of gongs can currently be voted on by the club’s supporters – with the Travis Perkins Supporters’ Player, Church’s Breakthrough Player, GRS Group Young Player and Michael Jones Jeweller Try of the Season prizes all up for grabs.

The Carlsberg Players’ Player of the Season award will also be voted on by the senior Saints squad, while those who have hit significant milestones of 50, 100 and 200 matches for Northampton this term will be recognised for their contribution to the club.
