A hearing will take place on Tuesday evening and Tuala could become the second player in as many weeks to receive a ban following a citing.

Tom Wood was suspended for three weeks for a dangerous clear-out at a ruck during the recent defeat to Leinster in Dublin and missed the match against Worcester.

Wood will also be out of the games against London Irish and Leicester Tigers, and Tuala could be forced to join him on the sidelines if the hearing doesn't go his way.

An RFU statement read: "Ahsee Tuala of Northampton Saints will appear before an online independent disciplinary panel tomorrow evening (Tuesday 29 December 2020).

"Tuala was cited by independent citing commissioner Jay Curts following the match between Northampton Saints and Worcester Warriors on Saturday 26 Dec 2020. This was for kicking contrary to World Rugby Law 9.12

"The independent disciplinary panel will be chaired by Ian Unsworth QC with Leon Lloyd and Tony Wheat. "
