Quins have been in fine form this season, making their way into the Gallagher Premiership top four.

They cruised to a 49-29 success against Saints at Franklin's Gardens back in November.

And they also won well when they hosted the black, green and gold towards the end of last season.

And Boyd said: "They're a good side with a good spine of eight, nine, 10, 12, 15.

"They've got a workmanlike forward pack, very good players so they're a handful and we'll show them the due respect and it's going to be a tough occasion.

"We didn't get the result against Bath last weekend and we felt we left another four points out there, which was massively disappointing.

"We created enough opportunities to win the game comfortably but didn't turn that territory and possession into points so well done to them."

Saints will hope for more heroics from scrum-half Tom James this weekend after he delivered a try double in the 23-22 defeat to Bath last Sunday.

James joined Saints from Championship side Doncaster Knights last summer and has made a good early impression at the Gardens.

Boyd said: "Tom's a good young fella, who has come to us from Doncaster, and we're pleased the guys who look into that pond found him when we went fishing.

"He's been a good acquisition and he's doing a good job.

"We're really pleased for him."
