Naiyaravoro started the pre-season game against Worcester Warriors but has not featured in either of the Gallagher Premiership matches so far.

Supporters have been wondering why the Australian wing hasn't been involved.

And when asked that question at Wednesday's media day, conducted via Zoom, Vesty said: "T has been getting into shape and he's looking really good now.

"He's not far away and I'm excited to see him getting on the ball again.

"It's just managing our back three and getting in the right space so that when he plays we can utilise him to the best."

Saints will have David Ribbans and Lewis Ludlam available again against Bristol Bears on Friday night after the duo were left out of England's squad to face France this weekend.

And scrum-half Alex Mitchell was released by the Red Rose on Wednesday evening.
