Northants ace Harrison out to impress as he's named in England Lions T20 squad
Calvin Harrison will be hoping to stake his claim for full England international honours after being named in the Lions squad for a T20 series against West Indies A in the Caribbean next month.
The Northants all-rounder enjoyed a superb short-form white ball summer in 2026.

The 28-year-old leg-spinner was a key member of the Northants Steelbacks team that win the Vitality Blast at Edgbaston in July, and then was also a regular for Trent Rockets as they reached the final of The Hundred.
He couldn't quite secure a trophy win double though, as a Rockets side that also included Ben Sanderson were beaten in the Lord's final by Manchester Super Giants.
The Lions will play three T20 matches against the West Indies, with the first on Sunday November 1.
There then follows further matches on Tuesday, November 3 and Wednesday, November 4, with all three matches being played at Conaree Sports Club in St Kitts & Nevis.
The team will be captained by Somerset youngster Thomas Rew, and will be coached by Jonathan Trott, who was last month named as the successor to Andrew Flintoff, who left the role last summer.
“I’m excited to get to work with a hugely talented group of players starting with this white-ball tour of the Caribbean," said Trott.
“I’ve spoken about how important the Lions was in my career and now it’s my role to help prepare younger players for what lays ahead of them in international cricket.
“I also want to create a culture where England players will benefit from coming back and working in this environment to push for national team selection across formats and by performing and helping the Lions to win games of cricket.
“This squad has a mix of Centrally Contracted and Development Contract players which reflects some of the highest performing and most precious talent around the game.”
Harrison has previously played one 50-over match for England Lions, claiming three for 37 and the man of the match award as Pakistan Shaheens were beaten by nine wickets in the first ODI of a five-match series in Abu Dhabi in February.
The rest of the series was cancelled due to US-Israeli air strikes on Iran.
