Wycombe boss Duff heaps praise on Nolan ahead of Sixfields meeting
Wycombe boss Michael Duff does not think Kevin Nolan has been given enough credit for his work at Northampton.
Cobblers go into tomorrow’s game against the 11th-placed Chairboys at Sixfields just one place above the bottom four – but they are also only three points off the top half in an incredibly congested League One table.

"I think the Vertu Trophy game against us earlier in the season showed what they will be,” said Duff. “They’re well organised and they have some good athletes in the team. They’re a threat and if you’re not quite on it, they’ll beat you.
"I think Kev has done a great job there. I’ve been at similar-sized clubs to Northampton and it’s hard and sometimes people take results for granted. The career Kev had, for him to be prepared to come down and get his hands dirty, it says a lot about him.
"I feel everything you see within the football club reflects him in terms of the structure and the organisation, and they have some good players as well. We won’t be taking them lightly.
"I don’t think we’re that type of club anyway and I don’t think we have the type of players to do that. We had a difficult start to the season and we’ve had to fight tooth and nail to get into the middle of the division, but it was only a few weeks ago when we were just above the bottom four.
"We can’t lose that edge but we also need to add a bit more quality as well.”
