Wormleighton 'not fully satisfied' despite strong opening day display
Joe Wormleighton believes there is ‘so much more to come’ after admitting he was ‘not fully satisfied’ with his opening day performance against Swindon.
The Cobblers wing-back, who is popular with supporters, was typically tenacious and energetic in a hard-working display, but he was critical of his play in the final third.

The 22-year-old said: "It's really nice to have that support and backing from the fans, I appreciate it, but I keep reiterating that I feel there's much more to come from myself and I'm not fully satisfied with my performance.
"The endeavour and the fight is always there, I'll leave everything on the pitch, but I still need to do better going forward at times.
"There were some positives from my performance but there are things I need to sharpen up on and there is definitely more to come from myself in attacking areas.
"A lot of it is about getting used to being in those positions and building my fitness so when I get into the final third, I have more quality and I know I'm capable of doing that. It was a decent start and it gives me something to build on for myself for the rest of the season.”
Wormleighton dovetailed nicely with Janoi Donacien on the right side.
He added: "Janoi and I have already built a really good relationship, on and off the pitch. He's always helping me on the pitch with his leadership and experience and that makes my job a lot easier.
"He's telling me what to do and where to go and that’s the same for all the experienced lads. I’ve only been here a year, even though it feels longer, so that it’s nice to have that support.”
Reflecting on the 0-0 draw with Swindon, Wormleighton continued: "It's only the start of a long season, and hopefully it'll be a positive one for us, but I think there's much more to come, especially going forward.
"That sharpness will come. We do need to be more clinical, that goes for all of us in the changing room, and on another day we might have punished them and scored a goal or two.
“But it's a new season and a chance to start afresh and I feel we have come a really long way over the course of pre-season. Last season has gone now. It feels like years ago. We're only looking at the road ahead and there's more to come and more to build on.”
