What Lincoln City fans have said about Cobblers' new signing
Lincoln City fans have only had positive things to say about goalkeeper Zach Jeacock since his loan move to Cobblers was announced at Thursday lunchtime.
The 25-year-old custodian will compete for the gloves alongside Ross Fitzsimons next season after arriving on a season-long loan from the Championship-bound Imps. He’s played 22 games in two years at Sincil Bank and is well thought of by the club, as demonstrated by their decision to hand him a long-term deal last November.

Cobblers goalkeeping coach James Alger posted: “Delighted to welcome Zach to the club ahead of the 26/27 season. An excellent addition who brings with him the attributes, mindset and desire we value highly. I’m really looking forward to working with him and supporting his development over the coming season.”
Lincoln fans have also been giving their thoughts on Jeacock’s temporary move to Sixfields...
“Zach is a very good goalkeeper, hope he does well for the Cobblers. Always looked assured when deputising for (George) Wickens and played really well in some big games for us this year like Chelsea in the cup. I suspect he will be leading keeper for L2 level. From what I know he never really had too many injuries and was willing to put himself on the line for the cause from memory.” – Jake Tonge, Here For The Lin(C)oln podcast.
“He'll surely be number one. He'd be number two for us in the Championship; there is no chance he's moving to League Two as a backup.” – @Staceywestblog
"Rate him as much as Wickens, maybe more if I’m honest when I’ve watched him. Still got a long contract so I hope to see more of him in the next few years to come. Best of luck Zach!” – @adamf_99
“Been solid every time he was needed, can't really ask much more from a number two keeper. He will do well on league 2 thought we might keep him as no2 in champ” – @lincolncityuti
"Always been class when called upon” – @youimps_
“Experienced goalkeeper and too good to be an understudy to Wickens” – Callum
