Judge reacted angrily after not being awarded a foul and that in turn prompted a surprisingly strong reaction from Drysdale, who appeared to lock heads with the Irishman. Judge was then showed a yellow card for simulation.

Jones and several Ipswich players had to hold back the official as he squared up to Judge. Tractor Boys boss Paul Lambert said the incident needs to be 'looked at' during his post-match interview.

The clip, which can be viewed on this page, went viral on social media.

Drysdale then sent off Ipswich captain Flynn Downes for violent conduct in stoppage-time as the match ended goalless.
