Midfielder Jack Sowerby has been ruled out for two weeks having joined Mickel Miller and Steve Arnold in the treatment room.

The midfielder, who has missed the last two matches, will be absent for the trip to AFC Wimbledon this weekend after undergoing a scan on a knee injury.

Manager Jon Brady is keeping his fingers crossed that Miller could be back for the final two games of the season despite initially being ruled out for six weeks with another hamstring problem.

Striker Benny Ashley-Seal is available again after a brief cameo off the bench on Tuesday, his first appearance in more than a month, and experienced centre-back Alan Sheehan is also ready to return.

"Apart from Mickel and apart from Jack Sowerby and Arnie, we've got a clean bill of health," confirmed Brady.

"I think Jack might possibly be back in two weeks' time, which would be good, and we'll see with Mickel. Could we get him back two weeks before the end of the season? Or will it be a week? How long's a piece of string?! I'm not sure but I'll say my prayers each night!

"We hope they will be back as quickly as they can be but the good thing is that the majority of this group and this team has played week in, week out and they're staying fit, which is really good for us."
