REVEALED: The Cobblers' new white away kit ahead of Sky Bet League One return

The Cobblers have unveiled their new away kit and it is sure to be a hit with the club's supporters.

The kit, the first designed by new supplier hummel, is white with claret pin-stripes and piping down the sleeves.

It offers a nod to the home kit worn by Graham Carr's division four title-winning team of 1986/87, and is a bespoke design, made specifically by hummel for the Cobblers.

As well as the pinstripes and trimming being in claret, the University of Northampton sponsors' logo is also in the distinctive club colour.

The kit is completed by claret shorts, which have the hummel trademark chevrons running down the sides in white, and white socks.

Pre-orders for the new away kit can be made online from a week on Monday (August 3), which is the day after the bespoke home kit will be revealed. which will happen at 8pm next Sunday night.

A club statement read: "The new bespoke Northampton Town hummel 2020/21 away kit is shown here, and will soon be available to pre-order.

"Supporters can order the shirt online at ntfcstore.com from Monday, August 3.

"All sizes will be available in S-5XL for adults and SB-2XLB for juniors. Mini kits will also available from 0-6 months to 5-6 years.

"We expect all pre-orders to be dispatched and land with supporters (or can be collected via the click and collect option) prior to the kit being in store – with shirts expected to arrive with supporters or be ready to collect from late August.

"The new bespoke home kit will be revealed on Sunday, August 2."

Danish firm hummel have taken over as Cobblers kit manufacturers from Nike, who had been the suppliers since the start of the 2016/17 season.

They are also the new kit providers for Premier League outfit Everton, and are also partners with a clutch of Championship sides including Middlesbrough, Bristol City and Coventry City.
