The club appointed new boss Chris Hogg last month, and he has a big job on his hands following the team’s collapse in the second half of the 2024/25 season. Nesta Guinness-Walker and Cameron McGeehan both left this week, following the likes of Michael Jacobs, Jack Vale and Tom Eaves. 9. Wide midfield/forward
Under contract: Kamarai Swyer, Elliott List, Sam Hoskins, Harvey Saunders. Priority rating: 9/10 - Again, Cobblers are crying out for more quality, speed and creativity in wide areas, even after Saunders' addition Photo: Pete Norton
10. Striker
Under contract: Harvey Saunders, Elliott List. Priority rating: 10/10. Unquestionably the single most important position Cobblers must get right this summer. They left themselves short after the last two windows and can't do so again. Need goals and quality in the forward line. Saunders is a start but more is needed Photo: Pete Norton
