An improved performance at Home Park didn't bring an improved result as Town slipped to a fourth straight league defeat. Here are our player ratings...
1. Steve Arnold
Fine stop from Cooper's free-kick appeared to have made amends for failing to keep out Nouble's first-half header, but his decision to come for a late corner immediately backfired... 5
2. Cian Bolger
Shifted across to the right side of Town's back three and teamed up well with McWilliams to minimise the threat from the dangerous Mayor, however a mix-up saw Nouble inexplicably left unmarked for the opener... 5.5 Photo: Pete Norton
3. Joe Martin
Back after suspension and seemed to enjoy playing in the middle of the back three. Defended strongly in one-on-one situations and was composed and calm to navigate some tricky situations... 7 Photo: Pete Norton
4. Fraser Horsfall
Of Curle's defensive recruits, he continues to be the most impressive. He keeps things simple and defends without fuss... 6.5 Photo: Pete Norton
