Cobblers confirm Sixfields friendly with Derby County

The Cobblers have announced they will play Derby County in a pre-season friendly at Sixfields.

Derby County manager Steve McClaren will bring his side to Sixfields for a friendly on July 18

Steve McClaren’s men will provide the opposition on Saturday, July 18, with a 2pm kick-off.

Ticket details for the game will be announced in due course.

The Derby clash is the second friendly lined up at Sixfields, with the Cobblers also due to play another Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City on Tuesday, July 21 (7.30pm).

The other pre-season dates that have been pencilled to date in are trips to Sileby Rangers on Sunday, July 5, and then matches at Worthing (July 7) and Burgess Hill Town (july 11).
