Another promising display from the midfielder. He was tenacious and busy and both dropped deep and pressed high. Withdrawn early in the second half as he continues to build his fitness, and perhaps it was no coincidence that Cobblers were more open with him off the pitch... 7 Photo: Pete Norton

He thrives when he has space to run into so a cagey first half didn't suit him, but had more joy after the break. Finished the game at right-back as Brady went to an attacking approach when trailing 2-1 and 3-2, which might partly explain why Cobblers looked so disorganised once it was 3-3... 6 Photo: Pete Norton

His performance was one of few redeeming features in the first half, capped by an exquisite finish which hauled Cobblers level just seconds before half-time.
