Wonderful touch and pass to create Bowie's chance and he was such a livewire throughout. His winning goal demonstrated so many qualities - anticipation to read the short back pass, quick feet and speed of thought to go round Grimshaw, and then composure to finish from a very tight angle. Played well beyond his tender years and led the line magnificently. His movement, strength and work ethic caused countless problems for Blackpool and meant Cobblers were always a threat on the break until he emptied the tank and had to be withdrawn.
