5. Joe Wormleighton
Didn't put a foot wrong. His stamina and energy was needed in a game like this and he gave very little away defensively whilst always trying to offer an outlet going the other way. Was tested by Cissoko towards the end of the first half but stood his ground and kept him at bay... 8 Photo: Pete Norton
6. Jack Perkins
Another excellent performance to add to his catalogue. Was always going to have his hands full against Cozier-Duberry but for all his flicks and tricks, the Brighton loanee didn't actually do that much damage, bar one first half miss. Amazing engine on him to keep charging up and down the left flank all game. Forced off by injury and his manager will be hoping it's not a serious one... 9 Photo: Pete Norton
7. Dean Campbell
Brilliant display at the base of midfield. His ground coverage and ability to anticipate and intercept passes made it nigh on impossible for Bolton to pick their way through the middle of the pitch. He tackled, disrupted and then sprung Cobblers away on the break. A fabulous all-round midfield display... 9 CHRON STAR MAN Photo: Pete Norton
8. Terry Taylor
So unlucky when clipping the crossbar with a wonderful early effort after sending two defenders the wrong way. His work in partnership with Campbell kept the defence well protected and forced Bolton to go wide or over the top, both of which did not cause too much trouble for Town's back three... 8 Photo: Pete Norton
