5. Luke Mbete
Superb again, more so in an attacking sense than a defensive one. Really caught the eye with his penetrating runs both through the middle and down the flank. 6. Jack Sowerby
Controlled the game at the base of midfield and provided the security from which Cobblers were able to dominate, certainly before half-time. Nipped in with some important defensive work as Mansfield increasingly threatened on the break... 7 Photo: Pete Norton
7. Samy Chouchane
Didn't hit the heights of last week but still had a decent game. His work in the middle of the park helped Cobblers create overloads and play through Mansfield on multiple occasions, leading to a number of good chances that weren't converted... 6.5 Photo: Pete Norton
8. Cameron McGeehan
He's the man you want the ball to fall to in front of goal but unfortunately he left his finishing boots at home. Had three very good chances but volleyed over and then twice denied by the in-form Pym.
