5. Kamarai Swyer
Impressive showing at wing-back. Disciplined and competent in defence and had the athleticism and legs to contribute offensively, as demonstrated by his involvement in both goals. Started the move for the first by cutting out a Wycombe attack, and then crossed for Fornah to convert after excellent wing play. Might be an interesting option in the wing-back role moving forwards... 8 Photo: Pete Norton

6. Nesta Guiness-Walker
Good display as he returned to the starting line-up for the first time in a month. Didn't see much of him in an attacking sense but he had the left side under control and won his individual battles... 7.5 Photo: Pete Norton

7. Terry Taylor
A cut above. Ran things from deep in the first half and then showed his grift and graft in the second, making important tackles and interceptions and generally managing the game well to see out victory. Other players had better, more eye-catching spells within the game but he was consistently excellent across the whole 90 minutes... 8.5 CHRON STAR MAN Photo: Pete Norton

8. Tyrese Fornah
His first Cobblers goal owed to something of a goalkeeping error but it was still a good, clean strike into the bottom corner and he deserved it. His marauding runs through the middle of the pitch constantly had Wycombe scurrying back to their own goal... 7.5 Photo: Pete Norton
