Here are our player ratings from a dismal afternoon at Sixfields...
5. Akin Odimayo
It's not saying much but he was the best of the defenders on the day. Most of Town's problems came down the other side and he kept trying to get forward even if the quality was lacking... 5 Photo: Pete Norton
6. Nesta Guinness-Walker
It all started to go wrong when his weak clearance was ruthlessly punished. Not at the races at all on a poor afternoon... 3 Photo: Pete Norton
7. Will Hondermarck
Not strong enough when Docherty muscled through to score and then completely misjudged his header as Leaburn made it three. Use of the ball was disappointing throughout... 3 Photo: Pete Norton
8. Cameron McGeehan
Completely nullified as Charlton bossed the midfield battle. He did have Town's two most threatening moments but they were barely even half chances... 5 Photo: Pete Norton
