Jayden Stockley scored the winner for Jon Brady’s side as home supporters voiced their frustrations at both the players and Kevin Nolan. Here are our player ratings from Sixfields...

5. Nesta Guinness-Walker
His clipped cross with the outside of his foot was a moment of genuine quality and led to arguably Town's best chance of the night as Hoskins glanced wide. Didn't play as well as he did against Orient but it still came as a surprise when he was subbed off, though may have been fitness-related. 6. Dean Campbell
No lack of effort but he's finding it difficult to really impact games in possession. Nolan felt his players took the safe option too many times in the second half and he was guilty of that, though the lack of movement from those ahead of him hardly helped. 7. Terry Taylor
The quality he produced at the end of last season and the start of this one just isn't shining through at the moment. Cobblers need him on the ball more but their current style does not play to his strengths. Not often subbed but he didn't make it beyond 65 minutes... 4.5 Photo: Pete Norton

8. Cameron McGeehan
Took a nasty whack to the head in the first minute and that seemed to affect him for a little while. His game is all about getting on second balls and buzzing in and around the penalty box but he's feeding off scraps at the moment... 4.5 Photo: Pete Norton
