Caught in no man's land when Smith burst through, making it a little too easy for the Macclesfield striker to lift over him. Redeemed himself with a fine fingertip save from Durrell's late free-kick... 6
Got Hoskins out of jail with a brilliant last-ditch tackle at 2-1 and that wasn't the only time he found himself well-placed to clear the danger. Strong and unruffled at centre-back... 7

Enjoyed a good tussle with the troublesome Smith all afternoon. Didn't always win the battle - such as when Smith levelled - but got his head to plenty and was a commanding figure in the second-half... 7
Engineered Town's opener when he brought the ball out of defence and clipped a precise cross for Bowditch. Somewhat caught out as Smith levelled but otherwise defended excellently... 7
Shifted to right wing-back for this game and doesn't always look comfortable in the position, though was well-positioned to clear a dangerous cross as Macclesfield chased an equaliser. Not much to speak of in attack... 6
Only his third start for the Cobblers but showed, in flashes, why Curle likes him. Some decent crosses and went close to scoring, denied by the feet of O'Hara shortly before Powell restored the lead. Defended well too... 7
Covered plenty of ground in midfield, winning tackles and forcing mistakes from the opposition. Was key to Town gaining the upper-hand during a much-improved second-half display... 7
Took a while to settle in but did himself no harm after his impressive debut. Some lovely moments that promise of a lot more to come. His composure on the ball and range of passing is impressive for one so young... 7
Excellent technique and composure to place a deft volley into the bottom corner from Turnbull's cross, giving Cobblers the lead. Picked out Cox for another chance as he reminded us that, on his day, he's a classy footballer... 7
The threat of his contract running out has unleashed a new lease of life. Didn't shy away from the battle against a robust defence, pouncing on an error to coolly slot home. Unselfish work teed up Morias... 8 CHRON STAR MAN
Worked his socks off on his first start for over two months, harrying and hassling the visiting defence all afternoon. His late goal, the easiest of tap-ins, was just reward for a terrific return to the side... 7
A good foil for Morias in the final 20 or so minutes... 6
Some decent touches and passing around the penalty box... 6
On late to help see out the victory... 6
