Little more on the fringes than the last couple of games but still influential. Clever header back across goal allowed Appere to create the opener and played a key role in the third too by intercepting a loose pass before finding the same man.... 7.5 Photo: Pete Norton

Occupied a central role alongside Appere and the two combined brilliantly throughout. Calm finish broke the deadlock and confidently beat Cracknell again to kill the game just after the hour. 11. Louis Appéré
His best display in claret. Great composure to set up Hoskins for the opener and after missing three chances, he grabbed a deserved goal when anticipating a mistake in the visiting defence before rounding the goalkeeper.
