Kion Etete and Jon Guthrie were the men on target as Town just about got the better of old boss Keith Curle. Here are our player ratings from Sixfields...
9. Sam Hoskins
Started strong but his poor miss just before half-time was followed by a frustrating second 45 when he got pinned back and didn't use the ball well enough... 6.5
10. Mitch Pinnock
He was front and centre during Cobblers' dominant spell. His free-kick caused chaos in the box when Guthrie turned home and then delivered a sensational cross for Etete to volley in. Made some poor decisions in possession in the second-half. Only one player in the division now has more assists than him... 7.5
11. Kion Etete
Once again so impressive in leading the line and setting the tone for his team-mates. Made so many balls stick up front and caused grief for each of Oldham's three centre-halves all night long. His volleyed finish to make it six for the season was excellent and the very least he deserved... 8 CHRON STAR MAN
12. Danny Rose
Provided something extra up top for the last 15 or so minutes... 6
