Aaron McGowan and Fraser Horsfall struck in either half as Town bounced back to winning ways. Here are our player ratings...
9. Sam Hoskins
There wasn't really the space nor freedom for him to use his pace and directness and hurt Mansfield, but he was typically hard-working and diligent in his defensive duties... 6.5
10. Mitch Pinnock
Involved in Town's most dangerous attacking moments, sending Koiki racing away with a delightful lofted pass in the game's best move, and then delivering a superb cross that saw Horsfall secure the points... 7
11. Kion Etete
A first league goal for the Cobblers continues to elude him, rattling the crossbar with a good chance here, but his performance contained everything else. Set the tone with his tenacity up top, ran Mansfield's back four ragged and brought those around him into play... 7.5
12. Danny Rose
Applauded onto the field by both sets of fans. Won a few helpful late free-kicks... 6
