Key Events

  • Town still seeking their first points of the season
  • Koiki, Burge and McWilliams could be involved
  • Imps coming off victory over Wycombe

Pinnock away down the right, tries to find Simpson and Bowie in the middle with a drilled low cross but a defender just gets there first.

10’

Simpson brings a comfortable save out of Jensen. Space opened up for him but he couldn’t get the power on his shot.

14’

Almost a stunner from Pinnock. So sweetly struck on the volley. Whistles just wide.

23’ GOAL! 1-0 Lincoln.

The visitors strike against the run of play. Hackett-Fairchild with a superb strike from 20 yards. Cobblers gave him too much space but that’s still a fantastic finish.

30’

That goal has taken the wind out of Town’s sails somewhat. Still playing some nice football but lacking punch in the final third.

33’

Too easy for House to find space between Town’s centre-backs. Tight angle though and he shoots well wide.

40’

Familiar story for Cobblers so far. Some nice football but no penetration once they get into the final third. Still feel this team is lacking a creative number 10.

47’

Hoskins unlucky. Tries to flick a header from Pinnock’s cross over the goalkeeper but it lands on the roof of the net.
