SAM'S THE MAN! Midfielder Sam Foley receives the plaudits after heading the Cobblers level against Mansfield on Saturday.
Misjudged Benning's corner, seemingly deceived by the flight of the ball. Shame as he had nothing else to do in the remaining 80 minutes with Mansfield not managing another shot on target... 5
Returned to his more familiar role at centre-half as Curle went with a back three and defended well up against Mansfield's front men, bar one mix-up with his skipper... 7
Headed a good early chance wide and might have done more to hook away Benning's corner, but was dominant in the air and let very little past him all game... 7
Most of his appearances have come in midfield lately but he was back in defence here, though that made no difference to his performance level. Read the game well and coughed up precious few chances... 7
There were times when he looked like a player who hasn't played in over two months but improved as the game wore on, making one brilliant tackle to break up a threatening Mansfield attack... 6
Worked his way up and down the left flank with admirable persistence, even getting a shot off. Little to concern him defensively as he helped to keep the visitors quiet. Also sent in some decent deliveries from set-pieces... 7
