The pick of three excellent first-half stops saw him tip Wilkinson's header onto the crossbar, though seemed a fraction hesitant to come off his line when Brophy raced through, making the finish a little easier... 7 CHRON STAR MAN
Made a fine, goal-saving first-half block but his struggle to contain the dangerous Brophy culminated in the Orient man's well-taken goal as he outstripped Town's defence and finished impressively... 5

He was fortunate to get away with one or two loose bits of defending as Orient caused problems down both flanks, and neither was he able to provide much of a threat in attack... 5
To compensate for the loss of Goode he had very busy afternoon and often did the aerial work of two men. Not at his faultless best but defended solidly & a couple of dangerous attacks started from his passes out of defence... 6.5
His first start in nearly two months came out of position at centre-back but he nevertheless did a commendable job, even more so given he gave up the physical advantage to Wilkinson and co... 6.5
He saw so little of the ball that he almost became a bystander as Cobblers frequently went long and direct. Not really his fault but it meant his best attributes, as a technical, ball-playing midfielder, went to waste... 5
Again it was a difficult afternoon. Full of running and endeavour but regularly became outnumbered and overrun in midfield where Orient held the edge throughout... 5
Occasionally guilty of taking too many touches and getting crowded out but if truth be told he was the only player who looked capable of making something happen in the final third... 5.5
His shot against the post came just minutes before Brophy's goal and was ultimately the game's key passage. Odd flash of promise, such as his cross for Williams, but not enough to consistently worry Orient's back four... 5
His mistimed header from Hoskins cross was probably Town's clearest sight of goal and the only time he received decent service all game. His substitution was greeted by boos... 5
Tough day but the criticism he receives is unfair. His presence tempts Cobblers into playing too long too early and there's only so much he can do with aimless punts. Nice touch and pass to Hoskins almost yielded the opener... 5
Won more headers when he came on but not enough to sustain pressure on Orient's goal... 6
First minutes since the opening day of the season and gave Cobblers a fraction more control than they had previously... 6
Missed a great late chance, though the flag was up in any case... 6
