Saved from Kirk in the first-half but he might feel he shouldn't be getting beat from a tight angle as Dale squeezed the ball past him... 5.5
2. Peter Kioso
Bailed out by his goalkeeper after Kirk got the wrong side of him for one of only two chances Town conceded all game. Decent otherwise, though didn't offer enough going forward... 5
3. Fraser Horsfall
The visitors veered away from their passing game to go more direct and that suited Town's two centre-backs. Won the aerial duel with Porter and helped limit Crewe to very few dangerous moments in the final third... 6.5
4. Lloyd Jones
Had another very good game at the back and would have been deserving of another clean sheet if not for the late goal... 7 CHRON STAR MAN
