Northampton confirm second pre-season friendly

Following confirmation that Premier League new boys Coventry City, who won the Championship title, will visit Sixfields on Saturday, July 18th, at 2pm, the club have now announced a pre-season game against Solihull Moors, which will be their final friendly before the start of the 2026/27 campaign.

Cobblers will travel to the National League side on Saturday, August 1st, at 1pm. The Carabao Cup first round is set to take place the following weekend – between August 7th and 9th – before the league season starts a week later. Ticket details for the trip to the Midlands will be confirmed in due course.
