Nolan tips Hammond for 'big future' and suggests Cobblers could sign Forest man beyond this season
Kevin Nolan has suggested Cobblers could look at signing Ben Hammond ‘beyond the next few months’, while he says fellow deadline day signing Kyle McAdam will bring ‘real quality’ to Cobblers.
The 21-year-old pair both joined Northampton right at the end of the window and will spend the rest of the season at Sixfields.

"Ben comes here with a similar profile to Ben Perry last season and he is one we are possibly looking at beyond the next few months,” Nolan revealed. “We think he could have a big future in the game, people whose opinion we trust and value agree and rate him very highly.”
Meanwhile, on McAdam, Nolan said: "Kyle has just finished his loan at Mansfield Town and while things may not have gone ideally to plan for him there, like we did with Ethan Wheatley, we have seen some attributes we feel we can help get the best of.
"He has some real quality about him, he has had a taste of League One so he knows what this level is all about and he is very well thought of at Nottingham Forest. He can play as a number ten, or anywhere down the left hand side and he has a wonderful left foot.
"We have an excellent relationship with Nottingham Forest and he is another player who we think can come in and help us."
