We catch up with Cobblers manager Keith Curle to see how he's coping with the lockdown and what he's doing to pass the time as we all wait for the return of football.

"Myself and my family are very well. I look forward to my exercise that gets me out of the house every day and we're finding different places to walk to and different activities to do but we're also stringent and we're sticking to the guidelines, which is important.

"We're now over a month into it and I'm finding that the little things are suddenly becoming very, very important and those little details are now the main focus.

"My missus gives me a list of things she wants doing every day or things that will keep me entertained - she even found me a jigsaw puzzle that was left over from my birthday!

"I'm into my jigsaw puzzles so that's been out and I've been doing that on my kitchen table which has taken up some of my time.

"It's extremely rare for myself to spend so much time at home. I spent five years in London when I was at QPR and then I went to Carlisle where I stayed away for five days a week.

"Now I'm obviously at Northampton and again it's four or five days a week I'm at the club so this is the longest period of time that I've had in the house.

"It's very strange. My missus even found a couple of my England caps in a draw the other day - they're very cherished so I put them somewhere safe and they were that safe that I couldn't find them!"

And what about the football side of things? "We're still in regular contact with the players and the important thing is that the lines of communication have come from the top and gone right throughout the football club.

"We've still split the squad and the staff into four so myself, Ronnie Jepson, Colin West and Dan West are rotating between all of the players. That means we can keep in touch with them two or three times a week, whether it's a Zoom call or just a text message."
