Lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, here's who makes the team and who has to be happy with a place on the bench...
5. Left-back: David Buchanan
No surprises here. Made almost 200 appearances in four seasons at the Cobblers, including 107 successive starts at one point, and was a key cog in Wilder's wonderful team.
6. Central midfield: Alan McCormack
A shock choice given his lack of action maybe but there's no disputing his quality and he'd bring a good balance to the team. Plus, not many sides would fancy playing against a midfield that contained both McCormack and O'Toole...
7. Central midfield: Matt Grimes
Cobblers didn't always play to Grimes' strengths during his one season at the club but he clearly possessed a lot of quality, as he's currently demonstrating at Swansea, named POTY last season and now captain of the club.
8. RM: Ricky Holmes
Half a season of his wizardry on the wing is more than enough to make the team. Fired the Cobblers to the title with some spectacular strikes, though has not been able to recapture that form since leaving the club.
