Not part of their league campaign but this victory in the FA Cup was a real shot in the arm and gave Cobblers belief they could go on and win promotion. Was also part of the club's best run in the competition for many, many years. Photo: Pete Norton

Cobblers came into this one after four successive losses so needed to steady the ship, and Vadaine Oliver's first-minute opener was the perfect start. Sam Hoskins added a late penalty to seal three priceless points.
8. February 29, 2020: Grimsby Town 0 Northampton Town 3
