Hogg expects Cobblers to add to squad 'in the next couple of weeks'
Cobblers boss Chris Hogg is confident there will be more movement in the transfer market between now and his side’s first league game of the season.
Town have signed seven players so far this summer, the latest of which was Connor Evans on a two-year deal 10 days ago, but it is no secret that Hogg wants more reinforcements, especially in attacking areas.

Cobblers finished pre-season by scoring four goals in an entertaining 4-2 victory over Solihull Moors on Saturday, and afterwards Hogg confirmed the desire for further additions before his side host Swindon on August 15th.
He said: “What is life without hope? You saw today that we are starting to put some nice things together on the football pitch but we’re always looking to add and always looking to help the boys who are here. We want to develop the club as best as we can and that’s in all departments.
“I think there will be movement in the next couple of weeks, for sure, and I’m hoping for more additions before the end of the transfer window because we want to mould the squad into what we want.
“We scored some really nice goals and that creativity and expression in the final third is what we want to create.”
