The study – conducted by Compare.bet – compared the price of tickets for away fans at every club in the Championship, League One and League Two.
When a club has a tiered pricing structure for away fans, the most expensive ticket was included within the study to show how much fans could be paying when visiting the stadium.
For the purposes of the study, the prices for a standard adult ticket in general admission were used.
If a club offered multiple tiers of away ticket pricing, the most expensive available ticket was used within the index.
Any discount included for buying away tickets ahead of time and not on a matchday was included within the price.
All ticket prices, running from cheapest to most expensive, referred to are for league games only.
