Town bettered the hosts on nearly every statistic bar the one that mattered as Luke Molyneux grabbed a late winner after David Ferguson had cancelled out Sam Hoskins' opener. Had a good battle with Sterry, Hartlepool's impressive wing-back, on the left flank. At first glance he looked at fault for the winning goal but on replay his fellow defenders were attracted to the ball, leaving him with two men to mark at the back post... 6

Excellent in the middle of the park. Brought energy and impetus and did a superb job of breaking up play and getting Cobblers on the front foot. No player on the pitch managed as many tackles and interceptions as he did... 7.5

He too had a good game. His work on and off the ball in central midfield provided the platform for Cobblers to dominate and control a lot of the game, but unfortunately the attacking players were unable to capitalise... 7
