Goode beaming with pride at being voted the Cobblers supporters' player of the year
The 24-year-old was revealed as Town's top player in the annual fans' vote, with the award being sponsored by Grosvenor Casinos.
Goode was the runaway winner, with 58 per cent of the Cobblers fans who voted in the Chron poll saying he was their standout performer from the campaign, which ended with the stunning 4-0 Sky Bet League Two play-off final success over Exeter City last month.

"I am very honoured to get those awards, it is recognition of a great season both for me personally and the club," said Goode, who also won the Sixfields Travel Club away player of the season gong.
"I have said many times this year, I came here to get promoted and to lead the side to that was a great achievement for myself.
"We were obviously gutted the fans weren't there to do it with us, but I know they were all buzzing, and we managed to bump into a few after Wembley as well!"

He was already a fans' favourite at that point, but only enhanced his reputation among the club's followers with some inspirational performances from central defence throughout the campaign.
The player really appreciates that backing, and taking to ntfc.co.uk he added: "I have said many times since I have come to the club, even when I came on loan last year, that the fans have really taken to me.
"I have not had that before in my career, so I wanted to repay them on the pitch and luckily I think I have, so I am very honoured to get that award."

"It is great to get these individual awards, but we have always been a team," said the Watford-born defender.
"Like in my position, the two players alongside me, Jordan (Turnbull) and Scotty (Wharton), have been exactly the same as me all season, as well as the goalkeepers.
"It has been a real team effort, and I think many people could have won that award, but as a team we got promoted and that is the most important thing."
