Cobblers may have dropped back into the League One relegation zone on Tuesday evening but it was still a positive set of results as they enjoyed a rare night off.

The biggest game at the bottom between AFC Wimbledon and Wigan Athletic ended all square as George Dobson's late goal cancelled out Jamie Procter's earlier strike.

That result was enough to move Wigan above the Cobblers by just a point while the Dons remain third-from-bottom, albeit still with a game in hand.

Bristol Rovers looked on course to put some breathing space between themselves and the rest when leading 2-0 at Charlton Athletic, however the managerless Addicks fought back to win 3-2 courtesy of Conor Washington's late strike.

The bottom six teams in League One are now separated by just three points having all now played 35 games bar Wimbledon.

Burton Albion are now eight points above the Cobblers following their 1-1 draw with Blackpool.
