Keith Curle will have almost a fully-fit squad to choose from for Saturday's big derby clash with Peterborough United in Sky Bet League One.

Scott Pollock remains sidelined with a groin injury but aside from one other illness, the Cobblers have plenty of options available to take on Posh at the PTS.

"We currently have one illness at the moment that might not make Saturday's game," said Curle. "We're just waiting to check that again.

"Apart from that, we've got a very clean bill of health. Some players may not have had the game-time that we would have liked but they're ready to play, which is pleasing."

With so many players to pick from, and following some excellent performances in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday, selecting a starting XI for Saturday's game and beyond will not be straightforward.

"We have a strong squad and I know anybody in our changing room is able to go out and compete and represent the club - that's why they're in there," added Curle.

"I wouldn't say I've got a starting XI or a first-choice XI because we've got a strong squad. We might not have the same numbers of other clubs but we've got decent strength in depth.

"We've also got the flexibility of players that can play in numerous positions as well and that's something we looked at with our recruitment so we're not just a one-trick pony."
