Cobblers to unveil new hummel away kit this Sunday - and the home shirt a week later

The Danish sportswear company are the new suppliers at the PTS Academy Stadium, and have designed bespoke home and away kits for Keith Curle's men.

The first big reveal of the away kit will be at 8pm this Sunday evening, with the new home kit following exactly a week later.

A club statement read: "The new bespoke Northampton Town home and away kits will be revealed in the coming weeks.

"The new away kit will be revealed first, at 8pm on Sunday (July 26).

"This will be followed exactly a week later by the new home kit, which will be seen for the first time at 8pm on Sunday, August 2.

"Pre-sale for both kits will begin online at ntfcstore.com from Monday, August 3.

"Kits will be available in S-5XL for adults and SB-2XLB for juniors. Mini kits will also be available from 0-6 months to 5-6 years."

The Cobblers are also confident there will be plenty of stock available for supporters, despite the problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and that fans who pre-order the kit will receive if before they are put on general sale in the club store before the end of August.

"Covid-19 has obviously delayed matters and changed all planned timetables," read a club statement.

"But we are happy with how hummel have kept us up to date and worked very hard to ensure everything is in place before the expected start of the season.

"We expect all pre-orders to be dispatched and land with supporters (or can be collected via the click and collect option) prior to the kit being in store – with shirts expected to arrive with supporters or be ready to collect from late August.

"The new hummel club store at the PTS Academy Stadium is expected to open with hummel training wear and accessories in early August."

The club's association with Nike, which had been in place since the start of the 2016/17 season, came to an end after the league two play-off final.
