Cobblers players need to 'eradicate some behaviours', says Hogg
Cobblers boss Chris Hogg says there are certain ‘behaviours’ that his players need to ‘eradicate’ after Tuesday’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton Under-21s.
Hogg admitted he ‘learned quite a bit’ about his squad after Town’s fringe players were taught something of a footballing lesson by their young but supremely talented visitors.

Charlie Tasker’s header and a sweet finish from Kamarai Doyle swept Brighton into a two-goal lead after just 15 minutes, and then Mark O’Mohany put the result beyond doubt with a penalty early in the second half.
"It's not getting over emotional on the result or the performance,” said Hogg. “It was a lack of problem-solving. The boys have shown me some really good bits since I've come in but I'm always learning and evaluating what we need to add to the group.
"I'm also learning about what we need to eradicate from the group in terms of some of the behaviours. We have to live through these experiences. It’s not always going to be rosy and it’s never a straight line. It’s something to reflect on and learn from and then use it in the future.
"We're at the start of our journey and we have to improve in every area and we have to do it in our way in terms of the style of play. I want us to have the ball more and have it in areas where we can hurt the opposition and ask questions.
"There were some good signs of that against Swindon and a bit at the end on Tuesday but we have to execute that final action and those final decisions better and more consistently.
"We need to build our identity as a team and we are in that rebuilding stage. We'll get better and better in terms of our understanding of each other and how we grow as a team.”
