No positive tests

Cobblers have returned zero positive results for the second successive round of coronavirus testing.

All players and staff were tested again on Friday and the results came back negative, which will allow for training to resume as normal this week ahead of the play-offs.

A club statement confirmed: "Following the most recent round of COVID-19 testing that took place on Friday, we are pleased to confirm that all Northampton Town players and staff again tested negative.

"The squad are continuing to train in preparation for the play-offs in accordance with the EFL's return to training protocol."

The only individual to test positive across the three rounds of testing so far is physio Ignacho Herrando, who remains in self-isolation.

Players and staff will be tested again this week.
