Cobblers fans' podcast team preparing to host special 'play-off preview bonanza' show on Zoom

Nicky Adams and his Cobblers team-mates haven't played since losing to Mansfield Town on March 7

The Cobblers will be taking to the field for the first time since March 7 when they square up to Cheltenham Town in the first leg of the Sky Bet League Two play-offs at the PTS Academy Stadium.

The match is being played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic, and is being shown live on Sky Sports (ko 7.45pm).

But supporters who would normally be making their way to the game can still get involved and enjoy the build up to the big match thanks to the It’s All Cobblers To Me podcast team.

They have announced they will be hosting a special live show before Town's first-leg against the Robins, with coverage starting a full hour before kick-off at 6.45pm.

The regular podcast team of Charles Commins, Danny Brothers, Chessie Coleman and Neil Egerton will be live on the video meeting platform Zoom.us, and all Cobblers fans are invited to get ready for the big kick off alongside a host of guests throughout the show.

Those guests will include Cobblers chairman Kelvin Thomas and Cheltenham Town reporter Jon Palmer, while Town players Nicky Adams and Alan McCormack will also feature.

Presenter and producer Commins, who launched the It's All Cobblers To Me podcast in September 2018, said: “We’ve really missed our weekly Cobblers fix these last few months and we know the rest of the fans have too.

"The reaction to our weekly podcast episodes has been fantastic and we want to give something back to not just our listeners but the rest of The Shoe Army too.

"This show is for them and we hope they’ll enjoy what we have planned."

The show is completely free and will include half time and post match reaction as well.
