Cobblers face trip to Bishops Stortford in FA Cup, and Daventry go to Chesterfield

Corby were handed a home tie against another non-League side, Dover Athletic, who knocked AFC Rushden & Diamonds out of the competition at the third qualifying round stage.

Brackley Town, who first have a replay to deal with at Barrow in midweek after the teams drew 0-0 on Saturday, were handed a tough away trip as well, as they will go to league one side Gillingham.

The draw was staged at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms and was made by former Liverpool and Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier, and ex-Arsenal and England midfielder Ray Parlour.

Daventry made it through to the first round proper for the first time in the club’s history with a thumping 6-1 final qualfying round win at Hartley Wintney on Saturday.
